Heating method for stainless steel storage tanks

Generally speaking, there are four heating methods for stainless steel storage tanks:

1. Steam or hot water indirect heating method: Steam or hot water passes through a tubular heater inside a stainless steel storage tank or the heating sleeve of a tank car to increase the temperature and heat the gas storage product.

2. Hot gas storage cycle heating method: It stores some gases from the gas storage tank, heats them up, and then returns to the gas storage tank, and mixes them with cold storage gas, accompanied by mechanical stirring, thereby making heat transfer faster. It is a water tank made of stainless steel. Compared with ordinary rolled plastic water tanks, stainless steel water tanks can withstand high pressure and are used in many high-pressure situations. At the same time, it has a characteristic: good sealing performance of the tank body, avoiding harmful substances from entering the air and mosquitoes, so that the liquid stored in the tank is not contaminated by the outside world and does not breed red insects. Therefore, most products are used for food storage and transportation, as well as in the brewing and dairy industries.

3. Electric heating: There are three heating methods: resistance heating, induction heating, and infrared heating. The new equipment has a simple structure, high thermal efficiency, and convenient operation, making it suitable for heating ships and tank cars.

4. Steam direct heating method: Saturated water vapor (abbreviated as water vapor) is directly fed into the heated gas cylinder.

The above are four common heating methods for stainless steel storage tanks, and you can choose the most suitable process according to your actual needs.
