Defects of stainless steel reactor

1. Confusion between the concepts of full quantity and nominal quantity

Generally, the total volume of the equipment is the total space contained in the reactor barrel and upper and lower heads, while the nominal volume is only the corresponding volume of the kettle jacket, that is, the volume that can be fed. Obviously, the latter is smaller than the former. Typically, users need a nominal volume based on the amount of feed, but a large number of manufacturers intentionally fill the volume. When the user doesn't care, he can take the opportunity. After the user sees through, he can pretend to misunderstand and find an excuse. However, the danger is that the user unknowingly overfeeds the reactor, leading to overload of the reactor. The danger is self-evident.

2. In case of high requirements for shaft seal, if mechanical seal is used, smaller shaft swing reducer shall be selected. Some manufacturers will use turbine reducer with relatively low price. Due to large shaft swing and mixing shaft swing, mechanical seal cannot be guaranteed due to failure of conditions. The pressure in the kettle is high, and the shaft seal leaks even more. If the kettle is a flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive medium, its harm can be imagined.

3. In order to ensure the stability of transmission, the base on the lid should be flat, but due to thin structure and poor stiffness, it is often reduced to three-point support. In addition to the use of low-speed reactors, it is easy to cause shaking of the mixing shaft, reducer and motor in common reactors. It causes shaft seal failure, material leakage, and increased wear of moving parts of equipment.

4. It is extremely dangerous to thin the steel plate of the kettle body or heat transfer jacket, especially the stainless steel plate with high price. The pressure resistance and stiffness of the kettle body are reduced, which is easy to cause malignant accidents of equipment explosion.

5. The reducer frame is short, so there is no space for adjusting the mechanical seal and the corbel wheel. To replace the wearing parts of mechanical seal, the reducer and motor must be removed, which is very inconvenient. When the reducer frame is long enough, you only need to remove the Kubei wheel, and everything else must move. Although the short frame saves a little manufacturing cost for manufacturers and users, the time cost spent on equipment maintenance in the future often exceeds the little saved. At least for users, it is not cost-effective to calculate general collection or long-term ledger.

6. In order to save materials, the head does not press straight edges, the rigidity of the head decreases, and the equipment capacity decreases.
