Common failure of glass-lined reactor

The glass-lined reactor has the advantages of acid and alkali resistance and corrosion resistance, and is widely used in industrial production processes, especially in chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing and the like. However, in the use of glass-lined reactors, many such problems often occur, some of which are due to improper operation of the glass-lined reactor, and some because the material is not properly added. Here are some common faults and suggestions:

1. Flushing the kettle: When the steam in the kettle continues to increase, the emptying pipe is clogged, causing the pressure in the glass-lined reactor to be too high, and the kettle lid is lifted up by the steam.

Regularly check the pipeline for blockage and clean it in time.

2. Excessive liquid in the kettle: The amount of liquid in the kettle exceeds the specified 80%, causing the motor of the reducer to overload and easily damage the motor and the mixer.

The amount of liquid in the kettle should be strictly controlled.

3, the kettle body jacket is too thin: because some of the kettle body jacket should be quenched and heated, and the thickness of the jacket is too thin, resulting in the jacket is easy to burst.

The thickness of the kettle body is measured periodically and the cooling or heating process is carried out slowly.

4, the reducer and the motor are easy to damage: the bearing is easy to wear, and the crack is prone to the corner of the bracket.

Carry out planned maintenance and replace worn parts.

5. Other common faults in the glass-lined reactor are: glass-lined reactor shell damage (corrosion, crack, through-hole), glass-lined reactor over-temperature overpressure, glass-lined reactor leak leak, abnormal in the kettle The noise, the glass-lined reactor enamel stirrer is detached, the enamel kettle flange leaks, the enamel glass reactor porcelain surface produces scale explosion and the microporous, the glass-lined reactor motor current exceeds the rated value and so on. The cause of such failures is often caused by corrosion of the glass reactor medium (pitting, intergranular corrosion), thermal stress of the glass-lined reactor, cracking or alkali brittleness, wear thinning or uniform corrosion, and failure of the glass-lined reactor. The control is not strict, the misoperation, the raw material ratio of the glass-lined reactor is improper, the violent reaction occurs, the intake valve fails, the intake pressure is too large, and the pressure of the glass-lined reactor is high.

The glass-lined reactor treatment method includes: the glass-lined reactor is made of corrosion-resistant material lining, the shell needs to be re-lined or partially repaired, the stress is eliminated after welding, the crack is repaired, the minimum allowable thickness exceeds the design, and the body needs to be replaced. Inspect, repair and repair the automatic control system, strictly implement the operation rules of the glass-lined reactor, take emergency pressure release according to the operation method, and regularly charge according to the regulations, strictly prevent misoperation, increase heat transfer area or remove scale, and improve heat transfer effect. Repair the agitator, increase the mixing efficiency, close the total steam valve, disconnect the steam repair valve, etc.
