1. Compounds: the main component is Fe2O3, it will generate iron scale.

2. Biological: As the circulating water temperature, dissolved oxygen and other microorganisms provide conditions conducive to the reproduction of microorganisms, microorganisms will reproduce in large numbers. When the temperature of circulating water is high, add phosphate and other agents in the water, it is just the nutrients of microorganisms, the propagation of microorganisms not only block the plate channel, sometimes also block the pipeline, but also make the metal corrosion.

3. Mud: enamel reactor cooling circulating water sludge, from the dust in the air and replenishment of suspended solids in the water, gradually deposited in the heat exchanger with low flow rate.

4. Scale: mainly microbial secretions and sediment in the water, corrosion products, bacteria and algae debris bonded and often attached to the heat exchanger wall.

Second, to the ionic or molecular state dissolved in water impurities

1. Salts: the main components in the water are Ca (HCO3) 2, CaCl2, CaSO4, CaSiO3 and so on. Calcium salt is the main component that causes heat exchanger scaling.

2. Magnesium salt: the main composition in water has Mg (HCO3)2, MgCl2, MgSO4 and so on. Magnesium dissolved in water, after thermal decomposition to generate Mg (OH) 2 precipitation, constitute slag or scale.

3. sodium salt: the main composition of NaCl, Na2SO4, NaH-CO3, etc. NaCl does not generate scale, but there is free oxygen in the water, which will accelerate the corrosion of the metal wall; Na2SO4 content is too high will be salted, affecting the safe operation. NaHCO3 in the water will decompose NaCO3, NaOH, CO2 under the action of temperature and pressure, which will damage the metal grain.
