Introduction to product specifications of scraper type thin film evaporator

The scraper type thin film evaporator mainly consists of a heating jacket and a scraper. The jacket is heated by steam, and the scraper is installed on the rotating shaft. The scraper and the inner wall of the heating jacket maintain a small gap, usually 0.5-1.5mm. The liquid is preheated and then, under the action of gravity and a rotating scraper, connected by the upper part of the evaporator in a tangential direction. It disperses on the inner wall to form a downward rotating film, which continuously evaporates and concentrates during the falling process. Finally, the liquid is discharged from the bottom, and secondary steam escapes from the top. The completed liquid is discharged from the bottom, and the secondary steam is discharged from the top.

In some cases, this type of scraper type thin film evaporator can evaporate the solution dry and obtain solid products directly at the bottom.
