The materials, stirring devices, heating methods, shaft seal structures, volume size, temperature, pressure, etc. used in the glass lined reaction kettle have various similarities and differences, but they all have the following basic characteristics.
(1) Structure
The structure of the glass lined reaction kettle is basically the same, including the reaction kettle body, transmission device, stirring and heating (or cooling) device, etc., which can improve heat transfer conditions, make the reaction temperature more uniform, and strengthen the mass transfer process.
(2) Operating pressure
The operating pressure of the reaction kettle is relatively high. The pressure inside the glass-lined reaction vessel is generated by chemical reactions or temperature rise, with significant pressure fluctuations and sometimes unstable operation. The instantaneous pressure may exceed several times the normal pressure. Therefore, most reaction vessels belong to pressure vessels.
