Limitations of corrosion resistance of porcelain layer

Glass lining is an excellent chemical corrosion resistant material, which is also one of the five characteristics of the material, but also has limitations. The glass-lined porcelain layer is not resistant to the corrosion of hydrofluoric acid and all solutions containing fluorine ions, and its alkali resistance is also poor, especially when the operating temperature rises, the corrosion phenomenon will become serious.

For example: hydrochloric acid: the use temperature is greater than 180 ℃ and the concentration is less than 10%, which is not available.

Sulfuric acid: the service temperature is greater than 175 ℃ and the concentration is less than 20%, which is unavailable.

Water: when the service temperature is greater than 150 ℃, water corrosion will occur.

Ammonia: unavailable when the operating temperature is greater than 155 ℃ and pH is greater than 12.

Phosphoric acid: unavailable when the concentration is 98%, the temperature is 100 ℃, and the annual corrosion rate is greater than 1.25 mm. Sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide: not available when the operating temperature is greater than 110C and pH is greater than 12

Sodium hydroxide: unavailable when the concentration is 4%, the temperature is 75 ℃, and the annual corrosion rate is greater than 1.25 mm.
