Glass lined reaction tank is frequently used in enterprises. However, in order to reduce the enterprise cost and prolong the service life of the equipment, it is necessary to understand the conditions that will cause equipment damage, so as to avoid it.
Clean the surface to be repaired with detergent (acetone or alcohol). The cleaning area shall be larger than the cleaned surface to avoid re contamination of the cleaned surface.
First, apply a small amount of repair agent evenly on the surface of the equipment to be repaired. When applying glue, move it in one direction as far as possible and apply a certain pressure. Grind and scrape it while applying it, so as to drive out air bubbles and ensure that the repair agent is in close contact with the surface of the equipment.
After one application, apply the remaining repair agent to the repair part of the equipment to make it reach the required specification and size. If machining is required after curing, allowance must be reserved.
3. Surface treatment
This is a key step for us to achieve successful repair. After the repaired parts are determined, remove the deposits at the corroded parts, and clean the parts where the equipment is de porcelain or perforated with tools such as file, grinder or angle grinder. Glass lining and iron filings with medium corrosion are not allowed on the surface. The metal should show its true color and coarsen its surface. The principle is “the coarser the better”.
Bake the repaired part with iodine tungsten lamp. After 6 ~ 12 hours (depending on the ambient temperature), the curing effect can be checked by listening to the sound of knocking. The repair agent can be used after curing.
5. Glue mixing
The domestic series glass lining repair agent is in the form of two-component agent mastic: A is the main material and B is the curing agent. Put the main material and curing agent in a clean container according to the ratio of 3:1, and fully stir and mix (allocate an appropriate amount of glue according to the size of the repair part).
However, with the extension of service time, the equipment will fail. In order to reduce the damage of the reaction pot, we need to operate according to the above methods and take preventive and maintenance measures.
