The materials involved in the reaction in the glass lined reactor will lead to the accumulation of dirt inside the equipment. However, if the scale is serious, it will corrode the surface of the equipment and reduce the service life of the equipment. Therefore, the enterprise needs to clean the reactor frequently. Among them, there are three common cleaning methods for reaction pot, namely mechanical cleaning, chemical cleaning and manual cleaning. The specific methods can be selected through the following introduction.

1. Mechanical cleaning: the high-pressure cleaning device is adopted, and the high-pressure water flow is used to wash through the nozzle to break up the hard dirt on the inner wall of the glass lined reactor and the surface of the agitator, completely peel off and remove it. The principle of high-pressure water jet cleaning is to compress the water to high pressure, and then release it through the nozzle installed on the cleaning robot extending into the pot. The pressure energy is transformed into the kinetic energy of the water flow, and the dirt on the wall is impacted by this energy to achieve the effect of cleaning and removal. Different from the first two cleaning methods, high-pressure water jet cleaning is pure physical cleaning, the medium used is water, the cost is very low, but the efficiency is very high, and the time of high-pressure water cleaning is very short. Compared with the original manual cleaning, it can save a lot of cleaning time in one year. If this part of time is used for production, it will produce considerable economic benefits. At the same time, high-pressure water will not cause any damage to the inner wall of the equipment. At present, in the chemical industry, high-pressure water jet cleaning has gradually become the mainstream of cleaning methods.

2. Chemical cleaning: first of all, we should know the scale sample composition in the glass lined reactor. A better method is sampling and analysis. After determining the dirt composition, conduct the test first, select the cleaning agent, and confirm through the test that it will not cause corrosion to the equipment metal. Then set up a temporary circulating device on site to circulate the cleaning fluid in the equipment to wash away the dirt. First flush the mixing paddle and inner wall with an appropriate amount of water and drain it. The solvent flows through the pressurizing device to flush the reaction pot. If the cleaning effect is not achieved, add an appropriate amount of solvent into the reaction pot, heat up, stir and reflux to meet the cleaning requirements, and then release the solvent. After that, wash the inner wall of the reaction pot with a certain amount of solvent and release.

3. Manual cleaning: low cost is its great advantage, but it needs several hours of ventilation before entering the glass lined reactor. During the cleaning process, the oxygen concentration in the boiler must be monitored at any time, which is in danger of hypoxia; At the same time, in addition to not being completely cleaned by the manual scraper, it will also cause the slip marks on the inner wall of the reaction pot, which objectively cause the further adhesion of the residues. Manual cleaning will also cause product hygiene problems. Generally speaking, it takes about half a day to one day to clean a reaction pot

The three cleaning methods of glass lined reactor have both advantages and disadvantages. For example, the mechanical cleaning method will not corrode the reaction pot, which is relatively reliable, but it takes time and labor, delaying the operation of the enterprise; The chemical cleaning method has a very good cleaning effect, but the improper selection of substances will cause damage to the equipment. For example, hydrochloric acid will cause scale explosion of the inner wall; The effect of manual cleaning is general and there are certain dangers, so this method is not recommended.
