Differences between glass lined storage tanks and glass lined distillation tanks

Glass lined storage tank

Glass lined storage tank (also known as metering tank) is a glass lined equipment for storing hazardous materials such as acids, alcohols, and gases. It is divided into horizontal glass lined storage tank, vertical open glass lined storage tank (i.e., K-type glass lined storage tank), and vertical closed glass lined storage tank (i.e., F-type glass lined storage tank). It is used for vacuuming, and can be equipped with a jacket to heat and insulate corresponding raw materials. It is used in petroleum, chemical industry, grain and oil, food, fire protection, transportation, metallurgy National defense and other industries.

Glass lined distillation tank

A glass-lined distillation tank, or enamel distillation kettle, refers to a glass-lined equipment that distills materials. Compared to other separation methods such as extraction and adsorption, it does not require the use of solvents other than system components during distillation, thereby ensuring that no new impurities are introduced.

The structure of the glass lined distillation tank is basically the same as the combination of the glass lined reaction tank cover. The tank body is equipped with a jacket to allow for the passage of heating or cooling media. There is no mixing system, and the pipe openings on the tank cover are also different. The middle is a large distillation opening, and is equipped with a temperature jacket pipe orifice, each feeding port, and a mirror port. Generally, a glass lined temperature sleeve is equipped, and the bottom is equipped with a glass lined discharge valve.
