The first lecture: special equipment

Our industry belongs to the category of machinery manufacturing, machinery manufacturing category in which there is a category called special equipment. Special equipment is divided into ten categories, respectively: boilers, pressure vessels, gas cylinders, pressure piping, lifting machinery, safety accessories, field special vehicles, passenger ropeways, large amusement facilities, elevators.


Second lecture: pressure vessels

Pressure vessels on the appearance of the type classification can be divided into: storage tanks, heat exchangers, towers, reaction vessels.

Storage tank class:

There are two types of tanks: vertical tanks and horizontal tanks, and different types of legs, such as: ear base class, leg class, saddle type.

The main role of the storage tank class is to store and extract from the storage tank when needed, which can be extracted from the storage tank by pressurization, vacuum, etc.


Heat exchanger class

The role of the heat exchanger as the name implies is to have a heat exchange effect that is, heat exchange. Its standard is GB-T, GB is the national standard. There are also two types of horizontal and vertical.

Heat exchanger is divided into tube process and shell process, the tube process is all the materials that go inside the tube, this process is called the tube process. Shell process is to go outside the tube and the outside of the tube has been in contact with this called shell process.

The most commonly used is the shell process heat exchanger (strong structure, wide applicability, large processing capacity).

U-tube heat exchanger (simple structure, cheap, but the shell process fluid is easy to short circuit, heat transfer is unfavorable).

Floating head type heat exchanger (easy to clean between and within the tube, does not produce thermal stress)

Plate heat exchanger (turbulent flow can be achieved at lower flow rates, with high heat transfer efficiency).


Towers

Steel tower vessel design pressure is not greater than 35MPa, other metal materials tower vessel design pressure according to the relevant standards; design temperature range according to the use of metal materials allowed temperature range; height H and the average diameter D ratio greater than 5 skirt seat self-supporting metal tower vessel.


Reaction vessel class

Mainly refers to the pressure vessel used to complete the physical and chemical reaction of the medium, such as reactor, reactor, etc. Reaction vessel is widely used in petroleum, chemical, rubber, pesticide, dyestuff, medicine, food industry.
